May God bless, strengthen and protect us all,

A Prayer for Hope and Healing

Merciful and loving God, we come to you in our weakness. We come to you in our fear. We come to you with trust. For you alone are our hope.

We place before you the disease present in our world. We turn to you in our time of need.

Bring wisdom to doctors. Give understanding to scientists. Endow caregivers with compassion and generosity. Bring healing to those who are ill. Protect those who are most at risk. Give comfort to those who have lost a loved one. Welcome those who have died into your eternal home.

Stabilize our communities. Unite us in our compassion. Remove all fear from our hearts. Fill us with confidence in your care.

This we ask in the Name of your Son, Jesus our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

We look forward to seeing you again soon for an authentic St. Mary’s welcome!

Welcome. You’ve found home – a church home – where whatever your background, however you see God today, no matter how challenging your journey is right now, you are welcome.

At St. Mary’s, we strive to be an inclusive, safe place for all people. You will encounter the unconditional love of God and the fellowship of friends right here. We’re a multi-generational faith community, living out the central invitation from Jesus:  Love God, Love Others and Serve the World.

We smile a lot around here, and it’s authentic! We believe that people desire relationships over religion, and our Sunday services are joyful, relevant and hope-filled. And, we believe that fun and church are not mutually exclusive. Love and joy are the fruits of being in relationship with God and with each other.

Our congregation ranges from those who have just begun to explore their faith to those who have been going to church for years. Questions, doubts and dreams combine in our quest for the holy. Come, see and experience the beauty and love of Christ with us. Everyone is welcome!

Praying the Daily Office is an ancient practice that uses traditional prayers to mark certain times of the day. For Anglicans, this generally comes in the form of the two main offices of Daily Morning Prayer and Daily Evening Prayer. They may be led by lay people and may be said with others (communally) or individually. Other offices as set forth in the Book of Common Prayer include Noonday Prayer and Compline (an office said before going to sleep). The link above will take you to the Daily Office appointed for this particular time of day.

The site is optimized for use on desktop or mobile devices. It was developed and is provided by the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, a Christian Community of the Episcopal Church.
