Fr. Scott has served St. Mary’s since January 2012. He was awarded a Master of Divinity degree from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois with honors in preaching and liturgics. Scott attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter and completed graduate work at Minnesota State University—Mankato and the University of Minnesota. He has also served parishes in Evanston, IL, Austin, MN and St. Paul. Scott resides on the banks of the Mississippi River in Lilydale, and his interests include Benedictine spirituality, literature, history and classical music.
Deacon Maureen has served St. Mary’s since September 2019. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and was Assistant Director of Museums for the Minnesota Historical Society before entering the diaconate. Maureen served as deacon at St. Luke’s Church in Minneapolis for six years prior to her deployment at St. Mary’s. She resides in Prescott, Wisconsin where she serves as an elected member of the Common Council.
